Igor And Lev, The Madcap Monsters Under D. J.'s Bed A181463 while the mother-of-pearl is carved

while the mother-of-pearl is carved with a peaceful sleeping face and set above the wings

these long earrings hit just the right note with a smoldering charcoal color that has pops of sapphire

This Kumihimo beaded braid combines serpentine

A subtle texture covers both the front and back

so the piece can be displayed with or without a frame

Igor And Lev, The Madcap Monsters Under D. J.'s Bed A181463 while the mother-of-pearl is carvedPart of the artist's "Saints and Sinners" series, this whimsical painting grew out of the years she spent in Catholic school, captivated by the saints and angelsespecially the ones who took a wrong turn and became sinners (her favorites). Here she proposes a few saints of her own invention, rendered in acrylic, collage, and graphite on canvas. Signed on the front and ready to hang.
