Vintage 1960s Vallauris Green Shell Oyster Plate Soup This handmade pink cabbage servingHandmade in the sun drenched ateliers of Vallauris, this functionally flamboyant oyster plate captures the spirited artistry of the French Riviera during the 1960s. Swirls of vivid green glaze look like molten lava, the experimental ceramics movement that defined the era. Shaped for six oysters and a central well, the mid century plate balances function and flamboyance in equal measure.
