S as a refugee from Nazi occupied Europe in the1930s. Signed photograph, shown as Amneris in Verdi's Aida, inscribed and dated in 1944. Printed signature on front of photographer James Abresch, New York. Size is 8. 25 x 10 inches, several creases and bends, otherwise in very good condition.
