Yale Basket Fid Throwbags Throwline & Accessories the WireEye helps keep theThis Basket Fid by Yale Cordage is designed for splicing hollow braid ropes like yale brace, yalex, tenex, ice tail etc. The wire basket acts like a Chinese finger trap, firmly gripping the rope while being pulled, yet easily released when needed. A great tool that simplifies splicing by easily attaching to the rope, passing through the hollow braid and detaching. All without excessive taping or doubling the rope diameter to pass through.
