Constructed of nickel plated magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code of M4 39 for F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, alongside the firms logo, measuring 63 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), in
