A bold and resilient succulent, Aloe mitriformis forms sprawling clusters of fleshy, triangular leaves with striking reddish teeth along the edges. In Cape Town, it bursts into tall spikes of brilliant orangered flowers during midsummer (DecemberFebruary), attracting sunbirds and pollinators to the garden.
